The official websites of the main exchanges, hardware wallets and software wallets, and which old wallets are discontinued with no safe official download.
Before you enter a seed phrase, password or key anywhere, check that you are on the official channel. This page lists the official websites of the main exchanges, hardware wallets and software wallets, and it says clearly which old wallets are discontinued and have no safe official download. The rule is always the same: type the address yourself, never click a link from a message, an email, a search ad or an app-store result you cannot verify.
The one rule
Type the official address yourself in the address bar. Never click a link from a message, an email, a search result or an ad. Lookalike domains are common, for example “ledger-secure.com” instead of “ledger.com”. If you are not certain, enter nothing and ask someone you trust.
