The guides on this website are researched and written by Robbert Bink, founder of Crypto Recovers. He has more than 15 years of experience in programming and information technology and has specialised in crypto wallet access since 2019. This website is how he shares that knowledge: it explains what happens to crypto after a death, what families and executors can do themselves, and when professional help is appropriate, in plain language, with dated sources.
How the guides are made
Each guide follows the same approach: research, understanding what people are actually looking for, checking against dated sources where possible, plain language, and a final tone check. Corrections are logged publicly. Legal and tax content is reviewed on a best-effort basis, roughly every six months; every page shows when it was last checked.
